James Rojas: Urban Planning through Art, Play and Activism!

 

Join WSCO from 6-9pm for an evening filled with art, community activism, and empowerment. James Rojas, founder of Place IT and Latino Urban Forum, will be facilitating an interactive workshop around urban planning on the West Side. Plan and Design an ideal West Side where you would want to live and prosper!
Rojas is one of the few nationally recognized urban planners to examin U.S. Latino cultural influences on urban design and sustainability. He has engaged thousands of people by facilitating over four hundred workshops and building and building over fifty interactive models around the world.
We look forward to hosting James Rojas and all of you at this free family-friendly interactive event!
There will be food provided from 6:00PM – 6:30PM with the workshop beginning promptly at 6:30PM.
